You will have a shopping cart, with the facility to up-sell and cross-sell - just like you would do on a major online shopping site like Amazon.com. You will be able to promote your own products in your retail centre and people will be able to buy off your site exactly like they would at any other major shopping site!

Affiliates can decide they don't actually want to BUY a product from your site - but they will be able to grab a link and sell that product, earning themselves a bit of mark-up and paying you for the cost of the package.

Should you buy them?

You see, we're way ahead of the company here! Some of us have been using this particular company for a long while now and can completely vouch for the quality of their leads.

So why shouldn't you buy them? Because we have a much better deal with company and because they will load them directly into our alternative contact management system. I'm not going to give away too much here, but if you are a member, you can go to the Members Only Area for all the details and a full comparison of how the different contact management systems stack up against each other.

We were told other leads would also be available eventually - but for the moment this is what we have.

This should be launched by the 15th of September and rather than just having a bunch of leads being thrown at you, these will be leads who have already opted in - thus showing their genuine interest in knowing more about our businesses.

As I have horrible memories of the ineffectiveness of the Managed Marketing Campaign in Passport to Wealth, I asked if we could expect anything similar to that. Dave Garven gave an emphatic snort (!) and assured us it would be NOTHING like the MMC. Forrest Blakenship said it would be as different as night is to day. Good enough for me! :)

When asked, Dave Garven was unable to give a cost, as they were still testing and he didn't want to mislead us. Expect an announcement soon.

Basically, what happens is that you will get a good quality inexpensive product to promote. You will start by earning a sizeable commission on each of the products you sell. However, the product will be geared so that it will promote MyInternetBusiness to people who purchase it - thus generating a significant number of sales from the list you build via this method.

This particular project is HUGE. The programmers are still working on it, with an estimated launch date of end October / early to mid November.

The cost is as yet undecided and if Dave mentioned this was only available to a particular level - I didn't hear that bit - I was probably busy frantically scribbling notes trying to keep up with his enthusiasm! But I am sure we will find out more a bit nearer to the time.
